About the Role:

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the continued development of the civil engineering service line, supported by an experienced and approachable leadership team.
The role is hands on and offers genuine influence across technical delivery, client relationships, and team development. You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle, work closely with clients, and contribute to how the civil team grows and operates over time. This position suits an experienced engineer who values autonomy, enjoys mentoring and collaboration, and is looking for clear progression in an environment that supports long-term career development. Responsibilities

Take a leading role in the continued development of the civil engineering service line; Offer genuine influence across technical delivery, client relationships, and team development; Be involved across the full project lifecycle; Work closely with clients; Contribute to how the civil team grows and operates; Mentor and collaborate

Requirements

Approximately 7+ years’ experience in civil engineering; Experience delivering projects across concept design, consenting, detailed design, and construction support; Working knowledge of 12d (or comparable civil design software); Understanding of New Zealand design standards and council approval processes; Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and project stakeholders; Full working rights in New Zealand
