Senior Data Analyst - Last Mile

Relay is fundamentally reshaping how goods move in an online era. We're hiring for a Senior Data Analyst to own how Relay measures and improves courier excellence: how we shape what happens on the doorstep, and how we manage performance before and after that interaction.

Responsibilities

Own how Relay measures and improves courier excellence; Shape what happens on the doorstep and manage performance before and after that interaction; Work with the whole of the Last Mile team and partner with data scientists, engineers and operators; Own the evolution of the v1 performance management into something materially better; Make handover trade-offs visible, model them, and find the levers that move the network in the right direction; Run experiments, design measurement, and quantify what actually works; Ensure the performance management framework drives fleet quality by defining behaviors to measure, evaluating interventions, and closing the loop for continuous improvement; Think about how performance and rewards are made transparent to couriers and run experiments to evaluate whether interventions are working for couriers and for Relay

Requirements

Strong analyst who thinks in systems and breaks complex problems into components and knows where the real opportunity lies; Successful working with high autonomy and comfortable operating in a Product/Programme Manager-like capacity, defining the roadmap as well as executing against it; Cares about solving the problem more than which techniques are used; Loves working with smart, motivated people; Fluent in SQL; Comfortable across the analytical spectrum - designing and reading experiments, building risk scores and segmentation, and shipping descriptive analysis that drives a decision the same week; Communicates inclusively with non-technical team members; Loves seeing the impact of work play out in a daily operation; Strong technical fundamentals with entrepreneurial drive

Experience working on performance management, marketplace quality, operational analytics or another relevant domain
