Senior Data Analyst - Strategic Finance

Relay is fundamentally reshaping how goods move in an online era. Relay's network is scaling fast. As a Senior Data Analyst in the finance squad, you are responsible for how finance sees the business. You own the dashboards and reporting that give visibility into the metrics that matter: cost per parcel, expansion profitability, client and cohort performance, pricing dynamics, and the drivers underneath them. You translate raw operational data into views that finance can use to forecast, model, and act.

Responsibilities

Own the analytics layer that powers finance decisions; Own dashboards and reporting for metrics like cost per parcel, expansion profitability, client and cohort performance, pricing dynamics, and drivers; Translate raw operational data into views finance can use to forecast, model, and act; Work closely with the Senior Data Scientist to build the reporting and visibility layer on top of simulation models; Work across squads to pull metrics into the semantic layer and shape them into views finance needs

Requirements

Take ownership of domain and be proactive about understanding finance's questions; Build clean, reliable reporting that people actually use; Fluent in SQL and experienced with dbt; Comfortable with BI tools and visualisation platforms; At least 5 years of experience; Communicate clearly with non-technical partners; Comfortable working across teams
