Senior Director, Distribution Center

As Senior Director, Distribution Operations, you will shape how Axon scales its global distribution capabilities while leading safe, reliable, and cost-effective distribution execution across the Americas. You will serve as the global subject matter expert for distribution operations, establishing standards and guiding capability development across regions, and lead Americas distribution operations with accountability for regional service, safety, quality, cost, capacity, and people performance.

Responsibilities

Define the global distribution operating framework, standards, and maturity roadmaps; Set global performance standards, KPIs, and governance; Shape network and capacity strategy across distribution footprint and facilities; Guide technology and transformation for WMS, TMS, ERP integration, automation, and analytics; Advance global operational excellence through cross-regional improvement initiatives; Own Americas distribution operating performance across company-operated and third-party facilities; Translate growth into execution through regional operating plans, budgets, staffing, and peak readiness; Deliver financial and third-party logistics provider performance; Protect inventory integrity and production flow; Lead safe, compliant, and resilient operations; Build organizational capability and develop site and functional leaders; Influence enterprise decisions and lead change with cross-functional partners

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience; 12+ years of progressive experience in distribution, fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain operations, including 5+ years leading multi-site operations and developing leaders; Demonstrated accountability for regional or comparable large-scale operating performance, budgets, capacity planning, and transformation initiatives; Experience establishing distribution standards and influencing adoption across countries, regions, or a complex matrix organization; Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory controls, manufacturing replenishment, 3PL management, and WMS/ERP-enabled processes; Demonstrated ability to use operational and financial data to drive decisions, build business cases, and communicate effectively with senior executives

Nice to have

Experience leading distribution across the Americas and supporting global operations in a high-growth, complex hardware or manufacturing environment; Track record of distribution network expansion, facility start-ups, automation, and enterprise systems implementation; Lean Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, or related certification; advanced degree in a relevant discipline; Experience improving customer fulfillment, cost-to-serve, inventory accuracy, and productivity while strengthening safety and employee engagement
