Responsibilities

Develop and design geotechnical and structural elements for foundation systems, deep excavation, tunnelling and land reclamation works under supervision.; Perform geotechnical analysis, calculations and design assessments including ground improvement works, foundation design, ERSS and instrumentation.; Prepare detailed design reports, calculations and technical drawings for preliminary and detailed studies.; Conduct site surveys, monitoring and review instrumentation readings, manage risk assessments and feasibility studies.; Liaise and coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, authorities and project stakeholders to support design development and authority submissions.; Assist with client management, satisfaction and weekly reporting on work programmes and project progress.

Requirements

Bachelor’s / Masters degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical design for projects such as rail, land reclamation, etc.; Familiar with numerical analysis of soil structure interaction; Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures; Excellent technical and project management skills; Familiar with Plaxis and Slope/W; Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration.
