Senior Fleet Manager

As Senior Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for the on the road performance of our delivery fleet. You will lead the fleet team in ensuring that our fleet is safe, compliant and cost efficient. You will own vehicle on-boarding and allocation, repairs & maintenance and admin functions. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our ops run teams to enable our fast growth and increasing fleet size. You are a strong people leader with experience in managing teams across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Own Repair & Maintenance: Oversee internal workshop operations and manage external garage partnerships; Oversee Fleet Operations: Ensure vehicles are assigned to drivers through the handover process and damages are reported and recouped; Manage a Decentralised Team: Provide strong hands-on management of the fleet team across multiple London depots; Manage the Admin Function: Oversee fleet admin function, including insurance claim processing and PCNs; Drive Fleet Compliance & Safety: Maintain a fully compliant fleet adhering to regulatory requirements and O-Licence undertakings; Optimise Total Cost of Ownership: Monitor fleet costs, using insights from telematics and advise leadership on potential improvements

Requirements

6+ years of Fleet Management; Experience managing teams across multiple sites; Comfortable working in fast-changing, high-growth environments; Strong people leader: clear, fair, and direct; Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills; Experience owning budgets

Nice to have

Managing large van fleets; EV fleet experience
