Senior FullStack Engineer - Grafana Catalog | Canada| Remote

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer for the Grafana Catalog team to help grow the Grafana plugin ecosystem. The team owns the full plugin lifecycle, including the Grafana Marketplace (currently in pilot), the plugin catalog, plugin installation and management, plugin delivery, plugin review, and developer tooling. This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates based in the US and Canada only, within the Eastern or Central time zones. In Canada, the OTE/Base compensation range is CAD $170,247 - $204,297, depending on level, experience, and skillset.

Responsibilities

Help grow the Grafana plugin ecosystem; Build new Marketplace features across the Grafana frontend, Go services and grafana.com; Improve how users find and install plugins; Make it easier and faster for developers to build, test and publish plugins; Automate and improve the plugin review process; Support the operations and reliability of plugin installs and delivery in Grafana Cloud; Talk to plugin developers and partners and turn their feedback into roadmap items; Come up with suggestions for process improvements; Work closely with the rest of the Grafana Division

Requirements

Solid experience with Golang & Typescript; Experience with React and building user-facing web applications; Experience with Kubernetes & microservices; Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others; Experience participating in an on-call rotation and performing operations/SRE tasks

Nice to have

Built or published a Grafana plugin; Worked on a marketplace, app store or package registry, or on billing and licensing; Built developer tooling such as CLIs, SDKs or CI pipelines used by other engineers; Strong experience working with a Product Manager or external stakeholders
