Senior Healthcare Professional

Lead. Develop. Make a real impact. As a senior leader within our service, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring detained individuals receive safe, accurate and compassionate healthcare.

Responsibilities

Lead, support and supervise a team of Healthcare Professionals, ensuring high-quality clinical assessments, robust documentation and consistent care standards; Oversee rota management, stepping in where necessary to maintain safe staffing and service continuity; Work closely with the Clinical Lead as part of an integrated leadership team, ensuring local processes reflect National Clinical Governance Standards; Champion best practice, continuous improvement and a culture of clinical excellence

Requirements

Qualified RN Adult, RMN (dual registration welcomed), RGN or Paramedic; Able to demonstrate a minimum of 12 months' Custody experience; Three years post-qualification experience gained in one or more of the following: General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health Services, Ambulance Service; UK resident for a minimum of 3 years; Holder of a full manual driving licence (no restrictions), with the ability to travel to other custody suites and local hospitals as required; Able to pass police vetting checks
