Senior Home Repair Professional

Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers about scope of work and costs; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience following the Mr. Handyman Way; Mentoring other Handymen in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tile and flooring; Managing projects - bidding and delivering projects on time and budget

Requirements

Live within the area; 10+ years' experience as a paid home repair and remodeling professional; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving company vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: carpentry, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting (inside and out), drywall work, minor plumbing and electrical, floor installation and refurbishing, familiar with building codes; Clear communication; Highly skilled craftsman; Problem solver; Eager to work; Exceeds customer expectations; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to lead a team
