Senior International Benefits Manager, EMEA

Justworks London, United Kingdom
On-site work

Publication date: 31/08/2026

You're an experienced benefits professional who thrives at the intersection of operational execution and strategic program building. You know EMEA benefits landscapes inside and out — the regulatory nuances, the broker ecosystems, the carrier dynamics — and you're equally energized by the challenge of building scalable processes and programs from scratch. You'll join as a key member of the International Benefits team, initially owning EMEA benefits operations end-to-end while progressively taking on broader program management responsibilities as the function matures. This is a role for someone who wants to build, not just maintain — you'll have the opportunity to shape how Justworks delivers benefits across a rapidly expanding international footprint.

Responsibilities

Own the full benefits lifecycle for EMEA markets — procurement, renewals, plan design, vendor/broker management, and employee support; Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Payroll, Product, CX, Revenue) to launch benefits in new EMEA markets; Build and manage relationships with local brokers, carriers, and benefits providers across EMEA; Track benefits enrollment, utilization, and cost data across EMEA markets; Take on increasing ownership of the benefits program operating cadence as the function matures; Work closely with Product, Legal, Payroll, and Customer Success to ensure benefits decisions are integrated into the broader international strategy

Requirements

5+ years of experience in international benefits, with deep knowledge of EMEA markets (UK, EU, and expansion markets); Experience with benefits procurement, renewals, broker/vendor management, and plan design in a multi-country environment; Track record of supporting or leading benefits launches in new markets; Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory environments as they relate to employee benefits and statutory requirements; Experience managing broker and carrier relationships, including RFPs, renewals, and contract negotiations; Ability to analyze benefits data (enrollment, utilization, cost) and translate insights into recommendations; Program or project management experience — comfortable building processes, defining cadences, and coordinating across multiple stakeholders; Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch — this is not a maintenance role; Strong communicator who can work effectively across time zones and cultures; Excited about the prospect of growing from a regional operational role into a broader program management function; Self-directed and proactive — you don't wait to be told what needs doing

Benefits

welcoming and casual environment; great benefits; wellness program offerings; company retreats; ability to interact with and learn from leaders in the startup community
