Senior Product Manager

The International product team builds and scales Affirm's products and experiences across international markets, with a focus on consumer payments. The Senior Product Manager will drive the strategy, execution, and growth of Affirm's consumer payments products across international markets, from iterating on the product vision and refining the product strategy to developing a roadmap and leading execution. This is a remote-first role based in the UK.

Responsibilities

Drive the execution, growth, and scale of Affirm's consumer payments products and experiences across international markets; Take Affirm's payment experiences and adapt them for international markets by understanding consumer needs and local payment preferences, analyzing performance data, and iterating on product features and capabilities; Drive success metrics by shipping high impact work and running experiments that improve the repayment experience, payment success, and processing cost; Partner effectively with engineering teams across the organization to drive product development and prioritization; Collaborate with stakeholders (Design, Research, Analytics, Finance, Partnerships, Legal, Compliance, Credit, Fraud, etc.) to shape the product roadmap and incorporate legal, governance, and regulatory oversight; Understand Affirm's international consumers at a deep level; Identify and create experiences that make it seamless for consumers to make and manage payments to Affirm, balancing customer needs, payment performance, cost, and risk

Requirements

Directly managed technical software products from kick-off to post-launch, with meaningful business impact; Experience working on consumer technology products or payments; Comfortable diving into technical details with an engineer, iterating on a Figma with a designer, and breaking down a funnel with a data analyst; Discipline, organizational skills, and interpersonal communication skills to navigate complex organizational dynamics, with specific examples of securing decisions from a broad group of senior stakeholders; Experience relying on engineering teams outside of your direct purview and influencing them to prioritize and build what you need; Bias towards action and ability to navigate obstacles and blockers; Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into a solid action plan; Direct experience shipping high-quality products on time; Comfortable with the commercial aspects of product development, connecting customer needs, product decisions, and business outcomes; Effective stakeholder management; Commercially minded, high agency, comfortable having technical conversations and opinions
