Senior Technical Product Manager, Internal Tools

Cloaked is building a cyber expert that watches, advises, and acts to keep users safe and private in the age of AI. The company is hiring a technical product manager to own the software factory, systems, and internal tools used to build and release products for customers. This covers how engineering plans, builds, reviews, tests, and ships its work, where AI agents fit into each step, the developer experience, the third-party tools the company buys and runs, and how teams get answers from data. Customers are every team at Cloaked. The role works with small teams of engineers and partners closely with engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

Own the product that makes every engineering team at Cloaked faster: the AI tools, workflows, and systems behind how they build and ship; Own the third-party tools bought as well as the ones built, from setup to upkeep; Push AI deeper into how software is built: decide where agents should write, review, test, and fix code, where people stay in the loop, and what it takes for engineers to trust the results; Treat every team as a customer: spot patterns in what slows them down, ship the fix, and make sure they use it; Build small fixes directly when fastest and hand larger work to engineers on the team; Define how to measure success for internal tools, such as adoption and time saved; Run the delivery org like a product: planning, idea-to-release flow, and how teams measure what they ship; Connect product engineers with platform and data teams so the right things get built in the right order; Run intake for the data team: sort and prioritize requests, help people get answers from data faster, and turn frequently asked questions into self-service tools and automatic reports

Requirements

5+ years as a technical PM or TPM, or as an engineer who moved into product; Built products for builders, such as developer tools, platforms, internal tools, or AI agents; Comfortable in code: can read it, write SQL, work in GitHub, and hold their own in a system design discussion; Builds with AI tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, and can show something they built; Has opinions about where AI is taking software development and has tested them in practice; Takes on side projects, tools built for themselves, or startups (failed startups count as a plus); Can turn a long list of asks from smart, busy people into a clear plan and see it through; Has worked at a company while it grew fast and builds with eventual rebuilds in mind; Does their best work with few resources and light process, moves fast, and knows where care comes first (security and access)

Nice to have

Developer platform, CI/CD, or SRE experience; Experience running AI agents in production, including measuring how well they work; Experience improving how a fast-growing engineering org plans and ships; Experience working closely with a data team or running an analytics request process; Experience with security or access control for internal systems
