Slot Technician

Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the gaming machines on the gaming floors at all locations. This position is responsible for the overall maintaining of excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace. All positions within 7 Clans require attention to quality guest services skills and exceptional team work.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the gaming machines on the gaming floors at all locations; maintaining excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace; Greet guest and team members eagerly upon arrival to the casino/hotel; assist with guest questions regarding promotions, events, specials, areas, and locations of casino; maintain attendance to ensure casino and guest has necessary coverage; responsible for checking in and out the appropriate keys, tools, and radio during shift; responsible for maintaining and making repairs on gaming devices in accordance with training and procedures; assisting the Slot Technician Manager with game changes on the gaming floor; reporting any gaming machine issues, guest issues, or team member issues to the Department Manager; perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations; maintain departmental logs noting any unusual occurrences, incidents, equipment failures, safety issues, disputes, etc.

Requirements

High School Diploma (or equivalent); Must be at least 18 years of age; Must be punctual and dependable in reporting to work as scheduled and completing assigned tasks; Read, write, and speak the English language; Read professional publications, memos, emails, logs, newsletters, and documents; Active Listening; Problem Sensitivity; Inductive Reasoning; Selective Attention; Protect the Company’s value by keeping information confidential; Perform assigned tasks under supervision; Follow written and verbal instructions; Establish and maintain positive relationships with other Team Members; Work well alone or within a team; Present facts and recommendations in oral and written form; Prepare written reports and correspondence to management as required; Exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job duties and responsibilities; Must be willing and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays; Must be able to provide all documents required to show eligibility to work in the United States; Required to pass a drug test and obtain and maintain a gaming license to work in a casino from the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission; Valid Driver’s License; Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and push, pull or drag up to 150 lbs; Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Nice to have

Guest Services experience preferred; 1-2 years of Gaming Machine Tech experience preferred or equivalent of 3-4 years game attendant experience
