Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems,; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems,; Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices,; Perform mission system integration activities on hardware for various projects,; Conduct testing, validation, and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements.

Requirements

Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering, minimum Master's or Diplom degree,; IT / Information Systems, at least 3 years.; Aerospace Engineering, at least 3 years.; Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications is required,; Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO-178C) and safety-critical software development,; Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of German is a plus,; Experience in C/C++ and/or Ada and real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks) is needed,; Experience with virtualization technologies (including resource segregation and drivers),; Knowledge of Hardware Architectures (x86, ARM and RISC-V),; Experience with CI/CD Methodologies,; Self-reliant and systematic way of working,; Ability to work in an international team,; Communication, networking and team-working ability.
