Software Developer

BasisPath is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support the development of mission-critical capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and developing software solutions, leveraging modern cloud-based environments and DevSecOps technologies. As a lead engineer, you will help transform existing software into cloud-native applications, improving deployment processes and enhancing release frequency.

Responsibilities

Lead software development efforts for application modernization projects.; Utilize cloud-based and DevSecOps technologies to enhance software capabilities.; Work on migrating and modernizing enterprise applications into cloud environments.; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.; Participate in the modernization of technology stacks and deployment strategies.

Requirements

Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.; Expertise in Microsoft platform technologies and modern programming languages.; Experience in cloud-based or service-oriented software development environments.; Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational database systems.; Familiarity with web protocols, AWS architectures, and DevSecOps practices.; Understanding of software development and sustainment best practices.; Active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post-hire.; U.S. Citizenship is required.; Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and significant relevant experience.

Nice to have

Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.; AWS certifications.; Knowledge of geospatial technologies or related fields.
