Software Engineer

At PDT, technology is a core driver of our business. Engineers tackle complex technical and quantitative challenges that advance our research methodology and investment approach. As a Software Engineer at PDT, you'll build and maintain the technology that powers our quantitative trading business from the data that drives our models to the systems that execute every trade, and everything in between. This is a hybrid position and will require the person to work from our New York City office at minimum 3 days a week.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software development experience; Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering or Applied Sciences field from a rigorous academic program or equivalent professional experience; Experience designing scalable and highly reliable software systems; Significant experience programming in an object-oriented programming language; Experience in and enthusiasm for scoping requirements and collaborating with colleague-clients
