Spa ~ On-Call Massage Therapist

The Massage Therapist will provide all massage and body services offered by the Spa at Rosewood Miramar Beach. Cultivating and maintaining a professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

Provide all massage and body services offered by the Spa; Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Rosewood Miramar Beach departmental policies, service procedures and standards; Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests; Maintain positive guest relations at all times; Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction; Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas; Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies, forms and resource materials; Attend all scheduled meetings, classes and training sessions; Schedule guest appointments; Verify medical releases from guests with applicable medical conditions; Conduct appointments according to guest’s comfort and desire; Follow draping procedures; Prepare guest consultation and recommend Spa products and treatments; Sanitize implements; Sell/promote merchandise; Complete required post-treatment documents; Handle emergency procedures and report accidents; Responsible for stocking supplies needed for cabinets; Fill out necessary commission report at the end of each day

Requirements

High school diploma; Diploma or degree in a related field; Certified Massage Therapist; Minimum 2 years’ massage experience in a luxury spa environment; Ability to speak, read and write English; Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; Must be able to prioritize, organize and follow up; Must be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; Must follow directions thoroughly; Must understand guest’s service needs; Must work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; Must work with minimal supervision; Must maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data; Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas

Nice to have

Knowledge of SpaSoft; Additional language is an asset; Experience in a luxury hotel
