Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Join the service as a Specialist Paediatric OT, supporting children and young people with sensory processing and functional needs. This is a flexible ad-hoc role, with work offered as and when required. The position would suit a specialist Paediatric OT looking for additional flexible work alongside existing commitments.

Responsibilities

Complete specialist OT assessments; Assess sensory processing needs; Create clear intervention plans and recommendations; Support children, young people and families; Work independently on an ad-hoc basis; Provide high-quality clinical reports where required

Requirements

Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist; Experience working with children and young people; Sensory Integration experience; Ayres Sensory Integration certification, or Sensory Integration Levels 1 to 3; Strong assessment, report writing and communication skills; Ability to work independently and manage ad-hoc referrals
