Sr. Financial Reporting Accountant

This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Houston, TX. 5 days in office. CPA highly recommended. OneStream and Workiva experience preferred. Job Summary: Responsible for supporting the company's accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation processes, including preparation of technical accounting memos and policies, key supporting schedules, external filings, and debt compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

Supporting the company's accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation processes; Preparation of technical accounting memos and policies; Key supporting schedules, external filings, and debt compliance reporting; Conducting monthly close activities such as preparing account reconciliations and posting journal entries; Monitoring and reconciling intercompany balances and related entries, including eliminations; Supporting the company's consolidation process in OneStream as needed; Preparing and assisting with schedules supporting cash flow statements, equity shift calculations, and weighted average shares outstanding; Assisting with monthly commentary on financial package; Supporting external filing requirements, including quarterly and annual filings and debt compliance reporting; Assisting with external audit to complete quarterly reviews and annual audit; Preparing and assisting with drafting accounting memos, technical accounting analyses, and accounting policy documentation; Supporting Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer with special projects and workflow process improvements; Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual assignments on a timely basis to meet all operational deadlines

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university; Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); At least 3-4 years experience in public accounting; PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting; Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills required; Experience with financial/general ledger systems required; Strong verbal and written communication skills required; Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required; Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Ability to travel

Nice to have

CPA/CPA candidate preferred; OneStream and Workiva experience preferred; Experience with consolidation software such as OneStream a plus
