Staff Accountant

Our client is a global investment management group specializing in macroeconomic strategies across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. With a history of navigating complex market environments, they focus on identifying opportunities driven by economic and geopolitical trends.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review daily cash analysis reports; Prepare monthly bank reconciliations; Reconcile cash entries with bank statements and internal records; Assist with trade input, confirmation, and settlements of all trading activity; Review/prepare entries related to daily cash activity for AP invoices and investments in the general ledger; Responsible for month-end close for investment entities; Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting required; 2-4 years of accounting experience within financial services; Experience with accounting and operational functions associated with investment advisers, hedge funds, and financial products

Nice to have

CPA preferred; Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Advent Geneva a plus
