Staff Product Manager, Community Builders

Reddit is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Community Builders team within the Content Ecosystem organization. The role leads highly ambiguous, zero-to-one product work across discovery, contribution, community identity, recognition, and emerging community formats, partnering closely with Design, Engineering, Data, Research, and cross-functional leaders.

Responsibilities

Identify major opportunities to evolve communities on Reddit, and turn them into a clear product strategy and roadmap; Lead zero-to-one community experiences from problem definition through launch, learning, and scale; Build a deep understanding of members, contributors, community builders, and healthy community dynamics, and translate those insights into high-quality product experiences; Assess ecosystem tradeoffs as you evolve the user experience, including impacts to community health, contribution quality, and member trust; Define goals, success metrics, milestones, and learning plans that connect user value with Reddit's broader strategy; Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Research, and cross-functional teams to make product tradeoffs and execute in a high-stakes, high-visibility space; Create clarity where there is little precedent, and communicate strategy, decisions, tradeoffs, and learning clearly to senior stakeholders

Requirements

Staff-level consumer product experience owning meaningful product surfaces or systems with measurable user impact; Exceptional product sense, including strong user intuition, problem framing, prioritization, UX judgment, and product taste; Track record leading ambiguous zero-to-one or major product-evolution work from strategy through launch and learning; Experience shaping product bets across multiple surfaces, user journeys, teams, or parts of a broader consumer ecosystem; Strong analytical judgment, including defining success metrics, interpreting evidence, and changing direction when needed; Excellent cross-functional leadership with Design, Engineering, Data, Research, and partner teams; able to resolve dependencies and divergent goals with little direct manager involvement

Nice to have

Experience with community, social, creator, UGC, or marketplace products; Experience shaping user participation, identity, contribution, belonging, or reputation; Experience evolving mature product systems or designing for multi-sided ecosystems with distinct user needs and incentives
