Xometry is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Core Platform team. This role is a strategic technical leadership position focused on the architectural evolution of our flagship enterprise partnership. While our current plug-ins function as external add-ons, you will be responsible for re-architecting Xometry’s core application services to live natively within our partner's digital ecosystem. You will shape the technical direction of multiple products, establishing the engineering patterns that allow Xometry’s AI—trained on millions of parts—to operate directly on our partner's native 3D geometry. Your goal is to move the architectural framework toward a "target state" where users experience zero-latency DFM feedback and one-click procurement without ever leaving their primary enterprise design environment. This role requires a hybrid schedule (3 days a week) at our North Bethesda, MD or Waltham, MA office location.
