Static Site Mechanical Engineer

We're looking for a Static Mechanical Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality maintenance services on a single site. You'll play a key role in ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently while providing excellent service to our client.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing, ventilation (AHUs, extract/intake), heating and cooling systems (FCUs, thermal wheels), and water assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters); Identify and report defects, ensuring all documentation, inspection reports and remedial logs are completed accurately and on time; Respond to client queries and deliver a high standard of customer service at all times; Work safely in line with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work and safe systems of work, including tasks at height; Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environment

Requirements

Experience working in maintenance or facilities management environments; Relevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent); Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices; Comfortable using IT systems and mobile devices for reporting and workflows; Strong communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure; Willingness and ability to obtain MET Police SC Clearance (can take up to 7-10 months)
