Steward/Dishwasher (Full-Time) - Arizona Biltmore

As a Steward/Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing dishes and general kitchen cleaning duties to include cleaning and mopping floors and trash removal. This is a full-time position, and you must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays. The shift for this position is from 4:30pm-1am.

Responsibilities

Washing dishes and general kitchen cleaning duties to include cleaning and mopping floors and trash removal; Gathering pots and pans to wash in a three-compartment sink or a pot machine; Breakdown, spray, load, unload dishes, glassware and flatware as they arrive in the dish area, then return items to the appropriate storage location; Maintaining chemical detergents in all applicable equipment such as dish washers, pot washers, and routine dispensers; Washing baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards; sweeping and mopping all floors, washing all floor mats; cleaning kitchen equipment including dish machines, ice machines, pot machines, prep tables, hot boxes, refrigerators; Separating, removing, and properly disposing of trash and garbage, including potential biohazard cleanup; Maintaining inventories of linen and removing soiled linen; Complying with regulatory departments and with departmental and property policies and procedures, to include Health Department, OSHA, Fire Department; Completing mandatory health and safety training as required by the company or regulatory entities; Performing other job-related duties as required by management

Requirements

At least one (1) year of prior work experience; Maricopa Food Handler's Card; Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays

Nice to have

High School graduate or equivalent; Previous dishwasher experience; Hospitality experience; ServSafe Certification
