Store Leader (Manager) Trainee

7-Eleven is hiring a Store Leader Trainee for Store 40698 in Edinburg, TX. The Store Leader is the heart and soul of the store, working with an Assistant or two as the store's leadership team to execute merchandising and marketing initiatives, drive profitability, develop the skills of the entire store team, and ensure customers are well taken care of. The role requires previous supervisory experience. Hiring immediately.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Previous supervisory experience; Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees; Desire to maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity; Ability to oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs; Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change; Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program; Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures and keeping products in stock; Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills; Valid driver's license from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment; Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Nice to have

High School diploma or GED (preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience); Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Excel preferred)
