Store Manager in Training

Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of store. Objective is to receive hands on training preparing manager in training for a management position in another store or future location.

Responsibilities

Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members; Supervise work performed by all team members assigned to store/HUB store; Recruit, test, hire, evaluate, promote, discipline and discharge team members jointly with district manager and store manager; Communicate information from Team Weekly and monthly store managers' meetings to all team members; Train new team members and handle performance evaluations; Assist in hiring process by scheduling and participating in interviews and evaluating candidates; Support store manager in safety compliance and team member training; Make sales calls with/without store manager; Support store manager in store operations as assigned; Maintain delivery fleet and ensure store neat, clean and organized; Use electronic scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll systems; Manage key components of gross profit and review KPIs; Review monthly P&L statement with store manager

Requirements

High School Diploma; Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program; Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately; Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems

Nice to have

O'Reilly store and/or distribution center experience; Completed O'Reilly management training program; Advanced computer skills; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
