Store Manager in Training

Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of store. Objective is to receive hands on training preparing manager in training for a management position in another store or future location.

Responsibilities

Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of store; Objective is to receive hands on training preparing manager in training for a management position in another store or future location; Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved; Responsible for supervising work performed by all team members assigned to store/HUB store; Train new team members assigned to him or her; Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management; Support store manager by working with the assistant management team ensuring safety compliance and that all team members receive appropriate training in all areas; Make sales calls with/without store manager; Support store manager in area of store operations as assigned; Responsible for the maintenance of delivery fleet and maintain records for each vehicle; Learn to utilize the electronic scheduling and timekeeping system and the payroll entry functions; Learn to manage key components of gross profit

Requirements

High School Diploma; Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program; Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately; Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems

Nice to have

O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience; Completed O’Reilly management training program; Advanced computer skills; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
