Structural Draftsman

Purpose of the Job

Responsible for drafting all structural design projects drawings assigned. Review and collaborate with other disciplines’ draftsmen to deliver well-coordinated drawings.

Main Responsibilities

Prepare structural drawings from architectural drawings
Mark girds and preliminary layout plans from architectural drawings
Understanding of typical details for construction and preparation of related details if required
Basic understanding of lap locations, joints, reinforcement etc.
Coordinate structural drawings with different discipline drawings such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.

Education

DAE Civil

Experience Required

At least 7-10 years of experience
Expertise in RCC Highrise structures
Worked at reputable structural engineering firms or consultants
Above Average understanding of reinforcement marking in REVIT.
