Support Worker/HCA

Airmid Staffing are recruiting for a client in Pontypridd. Airmid are looking for talented, committed, experienced HCA’s with experience in complex care. Opportunities available on a full-time and part-time basis. We are currently supporting a young man with DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy) who has extensive mobility needs, respiratory needs and personal care requirements.

Responsibilities

Providing high quality care and support to clients within the comfort of their homes; Supporting a young man with DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy) with extensive mobility needs, respiratory needs and personal care requirements

Requirements

Experience in complex care; Level 2 or Level 3 QCF/RQF/NVQ in Health & Social Care (or related course); Evidence of enrolment (Student Nurses welcome); Recent industry experience; Ability to work within the UK; 2 Professional References

Nice to have

Experience in Mental Health, Learning Disabilities or Autism
