Support Worker

Airmid are now recruiting for reliable compassionate Support Workers in the Portsmouth area, for work supporting clients in Residential Settings in Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care; Be proactive with managing behaviour & de-escalation

Requirements

Right to work in the UK; 6+ months of personal care experience (hospital, nursing home, or home care); DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one; Basic Life Support & Moving/Handling training; Two professional references; Ability to communicate clearly & effectively through verbal & written means; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a small team; Must be able to maintain a high level of care; Must be trained in Safety Intervention, PMVA, PBS or Control & restraint; Experienced in working with Learning Disabilities & ASD
