Suspension Technician

Astemo, a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry, has an immediate opening for a Suspension Technician in our Race Support Division located in Anaheim, CA.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support on SHOWA suspension (motorcycle motocross racing and production motorcycle test); Maintain suspension quality (i.e. periodic maintenance); Test and race reporting and disseminate data to Astemo management; Manage suspension parts for race service; Research, test and analyze new suspension valving, component, and design specifications; Perform safety management for work; Perform suspension setup on racetracks and test tracks with customers

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience with suspension or chassis work, or dealership customer service support; Ability to effectively present information to all levels within the company; Willingness to work as a team with all partners, both internal and external to the company; Willing to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends, evenings and travel

Nice to have

Experience with Motocross is preferred
