Talent Associate

As Talent Associate, you will uphold Rho's standard for hiring exceptional people and refine the infrastructure that enables hiring. You will build end-to-end searches, improve the Talent operating rhythm, and leverage AI as a force-multiplier. The role reports directly to Rho's VP of People & Talent and is based out of either the New York or San Francisco office, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with the best talent in the tech ecosystem and find creative ways to connect with people; Focus on quality over quantity in hiring; Strengthen the talent brand by partnering with marketing to run events and brainstorm; Develop rigorous hiring processes across the business and advise hiring teams on building better searches; Treat recruiting as half art, half science: position Rho before strong operators, A/B test messaging, and take a human-first approach; Obsess over and beat recruiting metrics; Go where you are needed and support hiring for G&A roles and candidate logistics

Requirements

1 - 4 years of sales, operations, or similar experience; BA degree; Passion for experimentation and craft, using AI and new tools; Experience operating in high-accountability environments (startups, fintech, financial services, or similarly rigorous organizations); High ownership and accountability; Strong knowledge of the talent market; Operational excellence in running disciplined searches and coaching hiring managers; Clear, persuasive communication and storytelling skills; A bias toward action and sense of ownership
