Tax Director

Responsibilities

Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services tailored to the construction sector; Review and approve complex tax returns; Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws; Lead tax research and planning initiatives; Serve as a technical resource for staff and clients; Supervise and mentor tax team members; Collaborate with audit teams on large client engagements; Serve as a trusted advisor to clients; Lead complex engagements; Collaborate with firm leadership to drive growth and innovation; Influence firm strategy; Mentor and develop teams; Contribute to business development efforts

Requirements

CPA license required; Bachelor's in Accounting; 8+ years in public accounting with increasing responsibility; Experience representing clients before tax authorities; Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

Master's in Taxation; Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx)
