Technical Engineering Advisor with German

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Engineering Advisor / DFM Engineer to support product development and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will act as a key link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring manufacturability of designs and successful transition into production.

Responsibilities

Perform routine Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews for high-end customer orders; Analyze and support optimization of part designs to ensure manufacturability; Conduct customer communication via phone and video calls regarding design and production issues; Maintain written communication with customers for problem-solving and technical clarification; Collaborate with partners and suppliers (written, phone, video) to resolve manufacturability challenges; Provide expertise in complaint handling (excluding formal RMA cases); Support continuous improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes; Ensure clear and timely resolution of technical production issues

Requirements

7+ years of experience in CNC machining and/or sheet metal manufacturing; Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal fabrication); Experience working with technical drawings and design-related problem solving; Fluent and professional English; Fluent and professional German; Customer-oriented mindset; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; High attention to detail; Strong understanding of customer needs; Ability to adapt across different industries
