Technical Project Manager

RED has a new contract opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join one of our key partners for a GitHub Migration Programme. The initial contract will be for 6 months with scope for extension based on project requirements. This contract is due to start on 1st August 2026 and requires on-site attendance in Copenhagen 4 days per week, with one day per week available for remote working.

Requirements

Proven experience delivering technical transformation and migration projects; Strong experience working with software development and engineering teams; Hands-on knowledge of GitHub repositories and Agile delivery methodologies; Previous experience leading repository migration projects; Demonstrable experience managing Azure DevOps to GitHub repository migrations; Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across technical and business teams; Understanding of source control management, branching strategies, pull requests, and DevOps environments; Experience working within fast-paced delivery organisations; Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions; Exposure to DevOps tooling, software delivery platforms, and developer productivity initiatives; Experience managing enterprise-scale GitHub adoption and governance programmes
