Technical Software Consultant (Supply Chain Solutions)

As a Technical Software Consultant, you will play a role in supporting our clients in the supply chain and transportation & logistics disciplines. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to design, implement, and optimize software solutions, ensuring that they address complex business needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, working cross-functionally with both technical and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Support clients in supply chain and transportation & logistics disciplines; leverage deep technical expertise to design, implement, and optimize software solutions; manage project timelines and work cross-functionally with technical and business teams; work with clients to understand business needs and translate requirements into technical solutions architecture; lead technical design and implementation of supply chain optimization software solutions; provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants; oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources; use project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.); bring domain expertise in supply chain management, transportation, and logistics; identify opportunities to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency; communicate project progress and issues to senior management and clients; act as primary point of contact for technical questions and escalations; oversee testing phases and collaborate with QA teams; stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies; high motivation for personal development, willingness to take responsibility and get involved while working successfully with a diverse cultural team; support non-related project tasks

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Experience in a technical consulting or software engineering role, with a focus on supply chain, transportation, and logistics software solutions; Strong hands-on experience with software system architectural design, implementation, and integration in a client-facing role with a strong passion for technology; Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, etc.); Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS implementations; Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, and system architecture in a supply chain context; Familiarity with databases, SQL, data governance, monitoring tools, and business intelligence tools; Experience with front-end and back-end coding languages: Python, Java, C+, similar enterprise solution languages; Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills; Experience working with global teams and clients; Availability to work in a hybrid model at the Campinas office, with a regular monthly office presence

Nice to have

Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, etc.); Experience with SaaS enterprise software delivery in transportation management or network design; Knowledge of advanced technologies (AI/ML, predictive analytics, IoT) in supply chain; Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies in software projects; Knowledge of specific logistics systems such as TMS (Transportation Management Systems), Supply Chain Planning Systems (Kinaxis, Logility, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, or similar), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
