Technician 1

Technicians support all aspects of telecommunication installations including the construction and maintenance of telecommunication structures, cables and data centers ensuring that work is performed in the safest manner possible with delivering a high-quality product to our customers.

Responsibilities

Working on communications equipment and projects, including installing, testing and repairing structures and equipment; Taking direction from crew Foreman ensuring safety and quality standards are met while adhering to project budgets and timeline; Reviewing documentation with Foreman to prepare for the build, assemble necessary materials, and determine required installation methods; Helping supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials; Performing inspections, inventories, and audits as needed; Collecting, reviewing, and submitting all on-site closeout documentation per deliverable timelines; Assisting training crew members on proper safety/quality standards; Maintaining issued equipment and reporting deficiencies as needed

Requirements

0-2 years Telecommunications experience; High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Strong written and verbal communication skills and team player attitude; Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to the set schedule; Highly organized and detail-oriented; Ability to travel away from home, including weekends; Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, if working outside
