Technologist Assistant

Support safe, efficient imaging exams by preparing patients, assisting clinical teams, and ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit in a fast-paced, active clinical environment. At SimonMed Imaging, the Technologist Assistant plays a key role in delivering a smooth, patient-centered imaging experience. This role supports technologists and clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, assisting with patient flow and mobility, and ensuring patients are safely and respectfully guided through their visit.

Responsibilities

Preparing patients; Assisting clinical teams; Ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit; Preparing exam rooms; Assisting with patient flow and mobility; Ensuring patients are safely and respectfully guided through their visit; Assisting with patient positioning; Escorting patients; Providing basic procedural support; Cleaning and stocking exam rooms; Maintaining efficient workflows and safe patient handling

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required (or obtained within required timeframe); IV certification or willingness to obtain (depending on modality requirements); Ability to frequently stand, walk, and physically assist patients throughout the day; Comfort supporting patient mobility, positioning, and safe transfers when needed; Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an active clinical environment; Ability to follow clinical protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control standards; Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safe, compassionate patient care

Prior healthcare or patient-facing experience strongly preferred
