Test Analyst

We are looking for a Business Test Analyst to join our team and support the successful delivery of strategic projects. This role focuses on the design, preparation, execution, and validation of business testing activities , ensuring solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and project objectives.

Mandatory Requirements

Responsibilities

Design and prepare test scenarios based on business and project requirements.; Create, maintain, and document test cases using dedicated testing tools.; Prepare, validate, and communicate all testing deliverables within the assigned scope.; Define testing priorities and ensure adequate test coverage.; Execute test plans, document results, and support Go/No-Go decision-making processes.; Monitor testing progress and proactively communicate risks, issues, delays, and quality concerns to stakeholders.; Identify, log, prioritize, track, and support the resolution of defects and anomalies.; Perform retesting and validation activities following defect correction.; Contribute to testing reports, project documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.; Ensure compliance with established testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.; Participate in workshops, project meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.; Understanding of project management and delivery methodologies.; Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies (ISTQB certification is a plus).; Previous experience in banking, insurance, or other highly regulated environments is advantageous.; Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.; Experience creating and managing test plans, test scenarios, and testing schedules.; Ability to identify, assess, and monitor project and testing risks.; Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.; Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.; Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.; French (mandatory)

Nice to have

5+ years of professional experience in software testing.; Experience with OpenText ALM Octane or similar test management tools.; Knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.; Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.; Knowledge of SAS .; Experience with Control-M or other scheduling and workload automation tools.; Strong customer-centric mindset and commitment to quality.; Experience working within structured testing frameworks and delivery methodologies.
