Track Services-Track Inspector - IN

Employees are accountable for assisting with track inspections and job site management.

Responsibilities

Assisting with track inspections and job site management; Working closely with Operations personnel to ensure the service meets customer requirements and schedules; Assisting in resolving customer service issues; Inspecting customer facilities for defects in need of repair and providing reports to Estimators for bidding purposes; Maintaining quality service by following organization standards; Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma required; Valid Driver’s License in good standing required; Ability to travel as required; Ability to build and develop positive working relationships with customers and vendors; Proficient with computer software to conduct daily business activities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Superior communication skills, comfortable engaging in verbal, non-verbal, and written communication and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills; Strong teamwork, initiative, resilience, and tact required; Comfortable making decisions with a strong focus on safety and quality; Strong working knowledge of one’s field or discipline; Ability to read and interpret documents; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Nice to have

3-5 years’ experience in construction; project management, including experience analyzing project costs and information, setting project budgets, and estimating costs; 2 years’ construction field experience
