Transportation Engineer - Traffic Technology

Responsibilities

Offer comprehensive traffic services, including traffic operation studies, pedestrian circulation studies, and intersection improvement/design projects; Specialize in traffic signal design and timing, pavement marking design, street lighting analysis, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS); Extend expertise to complex projects like citywide safety studies and signal system improvements; Enhance transportation infrastructure and positively impact communities

Requirements

Strong communication skills; Ability to contribute and work well on a team; Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; 4 - 10 years of relevant traffic engineering experience; Professional Engineering (PE) license; Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation; Working knowledge of software such as Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM, or other similar software
