Job Description

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be providing exceptional customer service and accurately processing transactions in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist them with their purchases, inquiries, and any needs they may have.; Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.; Handle cash responsibly, including making change and balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.; Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and assist with general store cleanliness as needed.; Stock and replenish shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented.; Verify age for restricted products (e.g., tobacco, alcohol) in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.; Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.; Promote Onvo loyalty programs and special offers to customers.; Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus.; Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.; Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.; Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.; A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
