TTMBC Traffic Management Operative

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Responsibilities

Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required; Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this; Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager; Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings; Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales; Setting up traffic lights; Assisting with the diversion of traffic; To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality; Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times; Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS; To help with the unloading/loading of materials; Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments; Reporting plant & vehicle defects

Requirements

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions: TTMBC Operative; Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications; Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check; Right to Work in UK; Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
