Underwriting Analyst

To support the Property D&F Class in profitably developing the account in line with Business Plan objectives.

Responsibilities

Claims/Premium/Exposure bordereaux management and reporting; Ongoing bordereaux, data and performance analysis, as well as making sure all facility underwriting guidelines and mandates are being adhered to; Making sure all internal data is in line with and as up to date as possible given the situation for each facility; Assist in the preparation of reports for coverholder and binding authority performance monitoring

Requirements

Undergraduate Degree; General insurance market knowledge with emphasis on delegated underwriting market experience across Lloyd’s or company market, underwriting or broking; Strong analytical and data management skills; Advanced MS Excel

Nice to have

Preference for maths/economics/statistics/sciences; Working towards a Professional Qualification/ACII preferred
