Usher

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Usher for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.

Responsibilities

Survey assigned area and report any problems to supervisor; Familiarize yourself with location of nearest exit ramp, police officer, person with handheld radio or IMS device, supervisor, and nearest restroom; Greet each guest with warm smile and friendly greeting; Check each ticket thoroughly, noting date, time, color, event/game, number, level, section, row, and seat; Guide each guest to correct seat; Keep guests moving to avoid congestion; Advise patrons that smoking is not permitted inside facility; Keep crosswalks and aisles clear; Receive and act on any complaints from guests; If guest is not cooperative, refer problem to supervisor or police; After events, help clear building and check for lost items; During event breaks, walk to front of aisles and check for individuals who may not belong; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age; Must successfully pass a criminal background check; Excellent communication skills; Able to read and understand written English; Able to distinguish colors of different credentials; Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours, and ability to climb stairs; Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; High School diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years customer service or retail experience required
