Valuations Analyst

About the Company: Our client is a global investment firm with over $65 billion in AUM using strategies for its clients through syndicated leveraged loans, high yield bonds, asset-based leasing, and private equity.

Responsibilities

Onboard newly originated investments and work closely with the underwriting teams; Perform internal independent valuation analyses, incorporate and understand financial statements, transaction structures, market data, and any relevant investment considerations; Perform monthly valuations of all illiquid securities and present analysis to the valuation committee; Create and maintain financial models to track performance; Assist in the preparation of quarterly portfolio review materials and present to portfolio managers; Liaise with various internal groups as well as third-party valuation providers and auditors

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or accounting; 1-3 years of experience within financial consulting and/or at a public accounting firm; Experience with debt or equity valuation; Knowledge of debt instruments
