Valuations Senior Associate

Our client is a multi-billion dollar credit focused asset manager managing funds for institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and retail investors.

Responsibilities

Assist in the overall coordination of the monthly and quarterly valuation processes; Compile valuations and supporting information and prepare summary packages to be reviewed by senior management; Support the annual audit and interim reviews by tracking documentation and providing information requests; Work with relevant internal and external parties including third party service providers and auditors

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; 3-5 years of experience working in financial services; Experience reviewing and building valuation models; Familiarity and experience with financial statements and financial metrics; Knowledge of capital markets/illiquid valuations

Nice to have

Experience working with debt instruments a plus; Strong Excel skills with VBA experience preferred
