Vibration Technician

We are seeking a Vibration Technician in our Taylor, MI location. On the job training will be provided as required. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our senior vibration technician to test and analyze spindles, ensuring vibration levels are within tolerance and set up run-off for finished product; Analyze vibration data to determine fault frequencies of bearing systems; Perform field balancing as required; Occasionally travel to customer sites to perform on-site vibration analysis

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; Certified in vibration analysis; Ability to read blueprints, precision measure devices and knowledge of bearing assemblies; Strong mechanical understanding of industrial equipment; Troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently; Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Effective communication skills (oral / written); No lifting restrictions

Nice to have

Electro-mechanical associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; Two years of experience as a Vibration Technician; Proficiency with Emerson (CSI) 2120/2130/2140; Knowledge of servo spindle drives
