Warehouse Worker - 3rd Graveyard Shift

We are looking to hire an operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Walton, KY. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

Responsibilities

Checking in containers; Double checking paperwork; Moving/unloading specific waste containers; Operating a forklift to load an autoclave; Lifting 55lbs bins and pushing a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs; Weighing incoming sharps and medical waste containers; Loading/operating the autoclave machine; Loading the Washsmart system; Providing attention to detail with paperwork required to process containers; Standing for extended periods; Working well with a team

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifting of 50lbs to 75lb containers); Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening; Willingness to take a 7 year background check; Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately; Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems; Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards; Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE; Proven longevity with employers; Can-do attitude
