Weekend Care Professional

We are looking for a Weekend Care Professional to join our Home Instead Basildon team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for regular weekend work who enjoys helping others and wants to make a real difference to people's lives.

Responsibilities

Companionship and conversation; Personal care; Meal preparation; Light household duties; Medication support, in line with training and care plans; Supporting clients with their daily routines; Helping clients maintain their independence; Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping or social activities; Providing reassurance and emotional support; Letting the office know about any changes or concerns

Requirements

Clear and reliable weekend availability; Available to work Saturdays and Sundays; Caring, patient and friendly; Reliable and trustworthy; Good listeners and communicators; Respectful of people's dignity, choices and independence; Comfortable working with older people; Willing to learn; Able to work independently while being part of a team

Nice to have

Full UK driving licence; Access to a reliable vehicle
